Installation instructions
Configure Internet connection
If you have not yet established an Internet connection with your mobile, first test whether your mobile is configured to do this. Open the Internet browser on your mobile and select any Internet page (e.g. wap.skobbler.de).
If your mobile is not configured for connection to the Internet, then
- Make sure that your mobile phone contract includes an option for establishing data connections for using mobile Internet.
- Ask your mobile phone provider for the necessary settings required to use mobile Internet. You will be able to obtain detailed information about your mobile phone contract and data tariffs from the customer service department of your mobile phone supplier. Caution - data tariffs can vary from a few Cents to several Euros per megabyte, depending on the supplier and tariff option. For the use of skobbler mobile we recommend a volume-based data tariff.
Downloading skobbler mobile
There are different ways of downloading skobbler mobile.
- You can use the form at the top of this page to send an SMS message with the download link to your mobile. To download the application, simply open the SMS message on your mobile.
- In the Internet browser of your mobile, open the Internet page wap.skobbler.de. Then follow the instructions on the display.
The total file download size is approximately 2.5 MB.
